Big Brother mole Tays says Frankie’s coming out ‘nearly made him cry’

Big Brother 2026 mole Tays has said he was almost moved to tears by Frankie Taber’s emotional coming-out moment, after watching a TikTok clip of Tays reacting on livestream.
Speaking after leaving the house, Tays, whose real name is Michael Taylor, said the scene “nearly made me cry”.
“I came on and saw the clip and it nearly made me cry,” he said. “It really, really got to me.”
Frankie, a 23-year-old marketing manager from London, came out as bisexual in an emotional Diary Room confession two days into the programme.
“I’ve come on this show to come out,” he said, before continuing: “I’ve come on this show to come out, ’cause I’m bisexual and, like, I’ve been in pain for so long now, probably about a year-and-a-half, two years,” adding: “I mean, just the guilt and the shame that I’m carrying from it, and I don’t know, I just feel like I’ve let down a lot of people.”
When Frankie’s Diary Room moment aired last week, Big Brother reassured him: “Frankie, Big Brother doesn’t think you’ve let anyone down.”
Frankie has not yet told anybody in the house about his sexuality.
How Tays and Frankie got close
Tays first entered the Big Brother house on Saturday, 12 September, 2026 as part of The Bov Boys’ 24-hour pre-series “dry run”, one day before the launch show.
After, he was selected to enter for the main run as a secret mole, or “Chief Creator of Chaos”. He was tasked with convincing his co-stars he was a genuine housemate while working undercover for Big Brother.
Tays and Frankie got on well during their time together, and Frankie was upset after Tays’ exit.
What Tays said he would have told Frankie
Reflecting on Frankie’s confession, Tays said he wished Frankie had told him while they were still living together in the house.
“I would have said to him, ‘It’s good, man. Don’t f****** worry, man. You’ve got nothing to stress about, bro.’”
