Nyle DiMarco has joined the recurring cast of Hulu’s legal drama All’s Fair for season 2, with the part rewritten to be played by a deaf actor.

According to Deadline, the sexually fluid America’s Next Top Model winner will play a character who has been adapted especially for him, after originally being written as a hearing character.

DiMarco joins a cast that includes reality TV icon-turned-actress Kim Kardashian, as well as established actors Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka and the legendary Glenn Close, alongside new season 2 series regular Cauã Reymond.

What is All’s Fair about?

The series, by Ryan Murphy, follows Allura Grant (Kardashian), who launches an all-female divorce attorney firm alongside Liberty Ronson (Watts) and Emerald Greene (Nash-Betts) after leaving a male-dominated firm, with support from Dina Standish (Close).

The team also includes assistant Milan (Taylor), who is having an affair with Grant’s pro-footballer husband Chase Munroe (Noszka). Alongside high-stakes breakups and shifting allegiances, the firm faces a fierce rivalry with competitor Carrington Lane (Paulson).

The first season drew mixed reaction, with it finding a place among some fans, while critics were less positive.

Paulson responded to the negativity in December 2025, telling Variety that she felt “absolute unbridled joy” while filming the show.

Season 2 will see the returns of lawyers Grant, Ronson and Greene for with more secrets, drama and, of course, fashion. New allegiances will form, friendships will be tested, and a revelation is set to threaten the firm’s existence.

Who is Nyle DiMarco?

DiMarco’s casting follows a year behind the camera. His first time directing a feature documentary came with Deaf President Now!, which debuted at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival before arriving on Apple TV+ in May 2025. The film earned a nomination for the Humanitas Prize as well as two Emmy nods, for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program. That directing nod meant DiMarco became the first deaf filmmaker to be nominated for an Emmy in that category.

A deaf model, actor and filmmaker, DiMarco has also been a prominent advocate for authentic deaf representation in media.

He came out as sexually fluid in 2015, after becoming the first deaf winner of America’s Next Top Model earlier that year. He also won Dancing With the Stars in 2016.

DiMarco has also appeared in This Close, Station 19, and Queer As Folk.
