DWTS fans call show a ‘fix’ as next celebrity eliminated
The next celebrity has been sent home on Dancing With The Stars (ABC)
Dancing With The Stars fans have been left furious after Summer House star Ciara Miller was eliminated this week.
Miller was in the final three couples in the vote reveal, alongside celebrity Jimmy Kimmel Live! star Guillermo Rodriguez and baseball pro Jackson Olson. After judges’ scores and viewer votes were combined, it was announced Miller and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong would be leaving the competition.
The reality star said it had been “the moment of a lifetime”, as Armstrong shared his disappointment as Miller was “getting better every single week”.
Miller was middle of the pack when it came to judges’ scores, getting 21 for her Jazz routine to Mariah Carey song “Emotions”. Olson also scored 21, while Rodriguez was at the bottom of the leaderboard with just 13 points.
Viewers brand show a ‘fix’
DWTS viewers were left furious, with some wondering how Rodriguez was safe again despite consistently scoring the least with judges.
One said on X: “I swear this is fixed. I hope Guillermo isn’t the new Bobby Bones.” Another said: “This eliminated felt fixed [in my opinion].”
Meanwhile, one said: “I like seeing her improve and bloom every week. I thought that was the original concept of the show. I kinda don’t like what it has transformed into.”
As another complained: “He’s literally at the bottom every episode he needs to go I can’t stand the voting.”
Who is Ciara Miller?
Model Ciara Miller, who previously worked as a nurse, joined Bravo reality show Summer House in 2021, and went on to appear in its spin-off Winter House too.
She quickly became a fan-favourite, thanks to her friendship with Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula – however her fall-out with the latter became headline news last year.
Batula split from her co-star husband Kyle Cooke, and moved on with another co-star, West Wilson, who Miller had been in a brief relationship with.
The betrayal saw fans rally around Miller, though professionally her stardom also exploded.
She joined the cast of the American version of The Traitors and was announced as co-host for Love Island: Aftersun.
