Devon police appeal for witnesses to driver’s homophobic comments

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an incident in Gold Street in the Devon town of Tiverton.

The force said on the evening of Tuesday 27 March 2012 at around 7.30pm a man walking along Gold Street, near to the White Horse pub, was approached by three men in a small silver coloured car.

The three men made homophobic remarks to the pedestrian before he ran from the area.

The victim is of distinctive appearance and described as a white man, of short stature with dyed red hair.
