Scissor Sisters frontwoman Ana Matronic says she would like to be a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race show.

The US singer has confessed that she’s a big fan of the programme.

Asked what reality show she would be prepared to be a judge on, the star told GT (Gay Times) “RuPaul’s Drag Race!

“Hello! Oh my God, and hello, I’m so qualified. It’d be hard next to RuPaul, though, wouldn’t it? I believe that all good judges are critical, fair and kind.”

Broadcast on Logo since 2009, RuPaul plays the roles of host, mentor, and source of inspiration for the series, which details his search for “America’s next drag superstar.”

RuPaul has attracted controversy this year over the use of the word “tranny”.

In March, the show was criticised by GLAAD for a segment in which contestants were asked to guess from a photo whether someone was a “biological” or “psychological” woman, using a slur.

In 2012, Matronic appeared as an advisor on The Voice UK, pairing up to assist Jessie J.
