A picture of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visiting an orphanage has gone viral – and you will never guess why.

The supreme leader of the secretive state was seen in photos released today, visiting a state-funded children’s home.

However, eagle-eyed internet users spotted two plush toys behind Kim Jong Un – who appear to be simulating anal sex.

The blue toy who appears to be receiving is Japanese manga character Doraemon – a male robot cat.

While there’s nothing to confirm the placement of the toys was intentional, Doraemon’s winky face seems to be too good to be an accident.

The Korean Friendship Association claims that “homosexuals in the DPRK have never been subject to repression, as in many capitalist regimes around the world” – but the government claims that homosexuality “never” occurs in North Korea.

State media organisation KCNA said recently of a UN official: “He is a disgusting old lecher with a 40-odd-year-long career of homosexuality. He is now over seventy, but he is still anxious to get married to his homosexual partner.

“This practice can never be found in the DPRK boasting of the sound mentality and good morals, and homosexuality has become a target of public criticism even in Western countries, too.”

Homosexuality is rarely referenced or mentioned in official releases or in North Korean media.
