Adele tells Donald Trump to stop using her music without permission

Adele has warned Presidential hopeful Donald Trump for using her music at rallies without permission.

The billionaire reality TV star-turned-politician is currently leading the Republican Presidential race, despite his extremely divisive views.

In his latest divisive announcement, Mr Trump yesterday ditched his support for same-sex marriage, despite attending gay weddings himself – and now says he would “strongly consider” appointing new Supreme Court justices to overturn it.

The Republican politician has recently been playing Adele hit Rolling in the Deep to warm up crowds at his rallies – but the singer’s reps are Turning the Tables on Mr Trump.

A spokesperson confirmed the song’s use for the rallies was not permitted, saying: “Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning.”

Despite giving Trump the Cold Shoulder, Adele usually keeps her political views to herself – though Rumour Has It she once described herself as a “Labour girl” in an interview, branding the UK’s Tory PM David Cameron a “wally”.

Though the statement doesn’t specifically condemn Mr Trump, many have taken it as a clear message to him: Someone Like You shouldn’t be using Adele’s music.

It’s not the first time an artist has put their foot down with Mr Trump – Don’t You Remember when country singer Neil Young demanded he stop using his music last year?

It might seem like a Million Years Ago, but Aerosmith also put a stop to Trump using their music in October.

Adele recently said she can’t wait to find out if her son has a boyfriend or girlfriend, adding: “I can’t wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes.

“Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what.”
