Dave Franco’s boyfriend proposes to him in Bad Neighbours 2 (VIDEO)
Earlier this month it was unveiled that there was something surprising about Dave Franco’s Peter character in Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising.
Not that he is gay, that was a given, but that he gets engaged in the film.
Now Bad Neighbours 2 (or Neighbors 2, in the US) has released a clip of his character getting engaged at a poker game with Zac Effron.
Amid a poker game with Effron, the character Peter’s boyfriend Jimmy, played by Ike Barinholtz, gives a signal that he wants to go “all in”.
The other players give a ukelele rendition of Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours’, as Jimmy gets down on one knee and proposes.
Franco says: “I was so excited…Even though I’m not on screen for a significant amount of time, hopefully it will be very memorable. And of course I was excited to try something new with the character while still maintaining his essence.”
The film’s director Nicholas Stoller had hinted at Pete’s coming out while the sequel was still in pre-production.
Of course Franco’s character says yes! Will there be more to this engagement than meets the eye? We hope not as they look pretty happy to us!
