Gym hunks go weak at the knees as they get engaged at the gym

An adorable video of two hunks getting engaged at their gym has gone viral.

The video shows Nico Martina (white tank top) proposing to his other half, Michael Sinclair at their local gym in Kings Cross, Sydney.

The two guys say they met at the gym, and so it seemed the perfect place to tie the knot.

Despite the fact that marriage equality isn’t available across Australia, the two hunky lovers didn’t let that stop them sharing the special moment and love for one another.

The proposal began with a special introduction from a set of dancers on the gym floor – before Nico joined in the routine.

His boyfriend can be seen looking visibly shocked as he emerges from the routine to get on bended knee for the moving moment.

Gym-goers gather round to watch, as the pair tell each other of their everlasting love.

Awww. Isn’t that adorable?

Revealing the story behind their romance, Nico told howheasked.com: “Mikey and I met each other exactly one year ago on the day I proposed at Fitness First Gym, Kings Cross, Sydney.

“Both of us were too shy to talk to one another for a long time until I finally said hello.

“When I met Mike for our first date, it was simply amazing and I felt an instant connection.

“Our first date felt like we were already in a relationship.

“He picked me up after he finished work, we went to the supermarket, bought food for a BBQ, then went to his place and prepared and cooked the food together.

“We both previously had been in long term relationships but they were relationships that never had the feeling of ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with this guy’.

“With Mike it’s been such an amazing feeling from the start and the spark never left; it only continued to get stronger and still continues to grow every day.”
