A gay dancer has transformed himself into an amazing Christmas tree for a festive video.

Mark Kanemura, from Hawaii, is known for a viral clip which featured him dancing to Carly Rae Jepsen’s Cut to the Feeling during Pride season this year.

The video sees 34-year-old Kanemura, who has achieved fame with Lady Gaga and on So You Think You Can Dance, toss off differently coloured wigs on each beat before revealing a rainbow one.

He then takes a fan from his rainbow-coloured underwear and shakes confetti all over himself.

And now Kanemura is back again with an incredible series of festive lipsync performances.

The dancer posted his performances to Kelly Clarkson’s Underneath the Tree, Patti Labelle’s This Christmas and Dean Martin’s Let It Snow on his Instagram page.

In the Clarkson video, he can be seen wearing a Christmas bauble-style outfit, which he then reveals is a flamboyant Christmas tree covered in tinsel and bows.

The ‘Let It Ho’ video features Kanemura wearing a bubble wrap outfit which he then takes off, revealing a silver tinsel skirt.

After he created the rainbow-themed video to Cut to the Feeling during Pride season earlier this year, he was invited to perform on stage with Jepsen.

The star arranged for Kanemura to come on stage while she sang the hit track at Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco.

After the concert, he posted a picture of his star turn on Instagram, writing in the caption: “when I look at this photo, I see a picture of a man who tapped back into his child like nature to play, create, and express freely.

“I am grateful to live in a world where I can openly do that surrounded by people that genuinely love, accept, and support me, just as I am. Thank you!

“And, thank you @carlyraejepsen for letting me share in this moment with you and for creating music that uplifts and inspires freedom, love, and happiness.”

Kanemura has appeared on Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and The Ellen Degeneres Show.

He has also worked with stars including Beyonce, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga.
