The first trailer for Lady Gaga and Shangela’s Super Bowl spectacular says loud and clear: Gay rights

The first trailer for the performance of pop queen Lady Gaga and RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty Shangela at Super Saturday Night has dropped and, well, you know the drill.

We have no choice but to stan.

Held the day before the Super Bowl, Super Saturday Night is an annual concert taking place each year since 2011. The Miami gig will be streamed live by the mobile carrier giant AT&T.

Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Rihanna are just a handful of  superstars who have performed in the past.

Lady Gaga and Shangela performance will be streamed live.

From Lady Gaga cupcakes to a, uh, Lady Gaga fish-tank, the trailer sees Shangela chant: “Gaga live, holla-loo.”

She parades around a luxe apartment dressed in a blue feather-trimmed kimono as rather flexible dancers manoeuvre around her.

“We’re gonna watch,” she concludes. We believe that’s an order.

The 1 February concert will be held at the Meridian at Island Gardens.

“I’ve had some incredible experiences performing at the Super Bowl,” said Lady Gaga.

“I am very excited to join the party again this year headlining AT&T TV Super Saturday Night!”

Fans, of course, were whipped into a frenzy over the trailer.

Shangela previously performed an iconic Beyoncé medley in front of the singer herself in 2019, which brought her to tears.
