Trans YouTuber and rising star of the Netherlands, NikkieTutorials, has been announced as online presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

The beauty guru’s next major gig will see her serve as the digital host for the 65th annual run of the singing contest.

Her hosting duties will see her helm Eurovision‘s three online channels as well as hosting a backstage YouTube series, because we are truly blessed to live in the same timelines as her.

The vlogger, real name Nikkie de Jager, took to Twitter Monday to confirm the news edition to her résumé.

“I am beyond honoured and thrilled to announce that I’m the online host for Eurovision 2020,” she tweeted.

NikkieTutorials ‘honoured’ to host Eurovision

While in an Instagram message, she explained: “From the moment Duncan Laurence won in Tel Aviv, I had only one wish: to be involved in the Dutch edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

“When I was approached for this at the end of last year, I was so extremely honored. I am really looking forward to immersing myself in this unique experience for two weeks.”

The backstage series will feature this year’s participating artists, who are all currently jostling to represent their respective countries.

Winners will then book their flights, trains and coaches to hit Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second-largest city following the victory of 2019’s winner, Dutch artist Duncan Laurence.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest kicks off on May 12, and will conclude on May 16.

NikkieTutorials came out as trans in tear-jerking video.

Her 13 million subscribers will likely view de Jager as a perky teen who dived into make-up after catching an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

But last month in an emotional 13 minute clip, the 25-year-old blogger explained how she transitioned in her teens and decided to share her story after she was allegedly blackmailed.

De Jager explained that she has always strived to be her own person on her own terms. “It’s time to let go and be truly free,” she said.

“When I was younger I was born in the wrong body, which means that I am transgender.”

“I am NikkieTutorials, and I am Nikkie. I am me.

“We don’t need labels. But if we are going to put a label on it, yes, I am transgender.

“But at the end of the day, I am me,” she said.
