Michelle Visage has reportedly filmed a pilot for a brand new BBC Three show.

The new show, which has the working title Get Off Your Ass, was described as a “celebrity chat show with a makeover format” by Deadline.

Visage reportedly filmed the pilot in late January with Drag Race UK executive producer Bruce McCoy.

The BBC is said to be considering whether to commission the show for a full series, but Deadline calls its development a sign that the broadcaster wants to build on the huge success of Drag Race UK.

Visage has judged every edition of Drag Race since season three and travelled with the show to the UK last year, along with its host RuPaul.

Drag Race UK set to return for season two.

Both RuPaul and Michelle Visage have confirmed they will return for Drag Race UK season two, which the BBC confirmed before the first run had concluded.

The former Bodyguard soundtrack singer is a noted Anglophile, and previously told PinkNews she plans to judge Drag Race UK for “ten, maybe 12 series to come”.

She admitted that her 2015 stint in Celebrity Big Brother was designed to put Drag Race “on the map”, telling us: “I’ve been here for the past five years, trying to get this show made.

“We have met with every single commissioner and every single channel and it took the BBC to have the balls to do it.”

Michelle Visage vogued her way through Strictly Come Dancing.

Drag Race UK’s arrival coincided with Michelle Visage competing in the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

She finished in seventh place in the dancing competition, being voted off after performing to Madonna’s “Vogue”.

Visage dedicated the dance to the “to the community that’s been there for me from the beginning”.

“It’s less about the song and more about what Voguing has meant to me as a teenager who kind of had no place in New York City and was taken in by the gay community,” she said.

“I knew for the first time, that I had found my family. I knew that I was there and I knew that I was home.”
