Straight people are making coronavirus porn to help them feel ‘alive’ and imagine how tired we are

As the global panic ramps up over COVID-19, straight people have been dealing with it the best way they know how – by making coronavirus porn.

A PornHub search for “coronavirus” currently yields 150 results, and the number of coronavirus porn videos is growing by the day.

COVID-19, a strain of coronavirus believed to have originated from the Chinese city of Wuhan, has spread across the globe. More than 96,000 have acquired the infection, while more than 3,300 have died, according to worldwide data pooled from health authorities.

One video, “Bodycam Footage (CDC Agent) Investigates Deserted Wuhan”, was created by porn star duo Spicy x Rice.

Filmed from the point of view of a man in a hazmat suit supposedly exploring a deserted medical facility in Wuhan, things soon take a turn for the weird.

A woman in a hospital gown appears, and we discover that the main character has a hole in the crotch of his suit. You can guess what happens next.

Spicy, the male half of Spicy x Rice, told VICE: “I think people are attracted to COVID-19 themed porn the same way people who are scared of their shadow are attached to horror movies: We are all searching for things that make us come alive.

“COVID-19 is something that brings fear and mystery to pretty much everyone in the world right now… You need to be able to feel something, and what better way to make you feel something than the global crisis we are all in right now.”

Spicy added that the duo personally know people who are stuck in Wuhan, and wanted to take their minds off the situation rather than offend them.

He added: “We knew that the corona event was ‘good viral material’ but we also knew it was affecting people in tragic way. We didn’t want to insult them by making it too real.”

While some porn producers are trying to take people’s minds off their coronavirus fear, others are hoping to educate people through their films.

Chase Poundher stars in another video on PornHub: “COVID-19 Coronavirus: Horny Slut Has to Use Protection During Outbreak!

His co-star Little Squirtles arrives at the front door announcing: “Daddy, I’m home! And so horny!”

But he appears wearing a dust mask, and says: “Wait, don’t you move a foot closer. Haven’t you heard of COVID-19?”

Squirtles responds: “You mean the coronavirus all the way over in China? I think I’ll be fine, it’s like a little flu.”

But Poundher is having none of it, and proceeds to give more accurate information about the outbreak, to both Squirtles and viewers.

He told VICE: “We thought we would use our porn as an avenue to get some legitimate information out with some comic relief included to get people interested and reduce our chances of being banned.

“This sparked the idea, knowing every current event ends up as a porn eventually, we knew people will be searching for it on less censored platforms like Pornhub.”

In other bizarre coronavirus news, condoms have been selling out as people have been panic-purchasing them and putting them on their fingers so they can push lift buttons in public buildings.

The new trend – spotted in Australia and Singapore – has seen shelves once packed with condom boxes barren and empty.
