David Cameron’s brother-in-law shares cheeky look at drag alter ego to ‘shake off the corona blues’

David Cameron’s brother-in-law has shared a cheeky peek of his sequin-clad drag queen alter ego Trixie to spice up your lockdown.

Robert Sheffield, the half-brother of Samantha Cameron, proudly bared his derrière in a silver metallic dress that left little to the imagination.

He completed the gender non-conforming look with a jaunty naval captain’s hat and red ring-master’s jacket.

“Trixie knows how to shake off the corona blues,” he captioned the photos posted on Instagram.

Sadly it seems Trixie won’t become a regular appearance, though. Another post described it as her “triumphant and final come back”, suggesting his drag persona is now heading into retirement.

“Goodbye y’all and til another day,” he wrote.

“Wait is Trixie leaving?” asked his pregnant girlfriend Ellen Francis Gibbons. “Baby girl has much to learn from her.”

Robert Sheffield has form when it comes to drag.

As the son of Old Etonian landowner Sir Reginald Sheffield, Robert stands to inherit a huge £20 million fortune and a 3,000-acre estate as well as his father’s title.

The art agency boss is known for his flamboyant sense of style, and in 2014 he hosted a cross-dressing party at London nightclub LouLou’s with rock star Bryan Ferry’s son Otis. He is said to have dressed for the occasion in a “Cher-inspired” blue wig and silver mini dress.

At another event a few years ago he channelled Ginger Spice in the famous Union Jack dress sported by Geri Halliwell in the 90s.
