The Masked Singer fans think Dragon is one of Drag Race’s greatest alumna after super sleuths unearth revealing video

Dragon performs on The Masked Singer

Fans of The Masked Singer suspect Drag Race star Courtney Act may be the singer in the Dragon disguise after internet sleuths discovered a telling video.

The second series of mystery singing competition kicked off Saturday (26 December), and six out 12 of the disguised characters performed for judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan.

The famous face behind the Dragon costume said in their introduction clip that they “just want to be loved”, and that they “may be cute but sometimes have a fiery temper”.

Dragon performed “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story, leaving the judges clueless.

From the off, fans suspected the celebrity disguised as Dragon might be a member of the LGBT+ community as their cute costume featured a fluffy rainbow belly.

But internet sleuths discovered a video of Drag Race alumni Courtney Act and Adore Delano performing “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” at the O2 Academy Glasgow in 2018, leaving them convinced that she must be The Masked Singer’s Dragon.

Courtney and Adore both appeared on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

One fan wrote: “If this isn’t the Dragon on The Masked Singer! The voices are identical!”

“Watch this and tell me Dragon on The Masked Singer UK isn’t Courtney Act,” said another.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race star, who identifies as pansexual, has appeared on many other reality TV shows, including Australian Idol, Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Karaoke Club.

In 2018 she was crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother, and she also hosted bisexual dating show The Bi Life on the BBC, which aired the same year.

The Bi Life made history as the UK’s first reality bisexual dating show. Set in a villa in Barcelona, the show saw nine bisexual or questioning singletons trying to find love abroad.
