Alexander Wang insists allegations he drugged and sexually assaulted models are ‘grotesquely false’
Alexander Wang has responded to accusations that he has sexually assaulted trans and male models, calling the claims “grotesquely false”.
Over the last few days, the Instagram account S**t Model Management, which says it exposes the “truth” about the modelling industry, and fashion watchdog Diet Prada have been sharing anonymous accounts accusing Wang of sexually assaulting and drugging models with MDMA.
British model Owen Mooney also came forward on TikTok, accusing Wang of groping.
According to Page Six, he said in the video: “I was by myself at one point and this guy next to me obviously took advantage of the fact that no one could f**king move and he just started, like, touching me up.
“And fully like, up my leg, in my crotch, like it made me freeze completely because I was in such shock.
“I looked to my left to see who it was and it was this really famous fashion designer. Like, I couldn’t believe that he was doing that to me. It made me go into even more shock. It was really f**ked up.”
S**t Model Management wrote on Instagram: “Alexander Wang has been accused of sexual assault for a few years now… It is time to hold abusers in the fashion industry accountable.
“Male and trans models are often overlooked in the conversations of sexual assault in the modelling industry, but not today.
“We can’t let famous people get away with sexual assault just because they’re on a pedestal. They need to be held accountable just like every other abuser.”

Alexander Wang says he will ‘hold accountable whoever is responsible’ for sexual assault allegations.
After days of silence, Alexander Wang has finally responded to the allegations in a statement.
According to WWD, he said: “Over the last few days I have been on the receiving end of baseless and grotesquely false accusations.
“These claims have been wrongly amplified by social media accounts infamous for posting defamatory material from undisclosed and/or anonymous sources with zero evidence or any fact-checking whatsoever.
“Seeing these lies about me being perpetuated as truths has been infuriating.
“I have never engaged in the atrocious behaviour described and would never conduct myself in the manner that’s been alleged.
“I intend to get to the bottom of this and hold accountable whoever is responsible for originating these claims and viciously spreading them online.”
Wang has not revealed if he has taken or is planning to take legal action.
