Elliot Page has teased his return to The Umbrella Academy set as filming for season three gets underway.
The Netflix series follows a dysfunctional family of adopted siblings and superheroes who reunite to find out what happened to their father after his death.
Page shared a picture of his chair from the set of The Umbrella Academy on Instagram, writing: “Omg we’re back again,” along with an umbrella emoji.
His post, shared on Tuesday (16 February), amassed more than 600,000 likes in the space of just four hours.
Page was flooded with supportive comments from co-stars and other famous faces, including his ex-wife Emma Portner.
The third season of the hugely popular show is being filmed in Toronto, Canada. The second season aired in July 2020 and was renewed in November due to huge demand from fans.
Just weeks after The Umbrella Academy was renewed for a third season, Elliot Page came out as trans.
Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page came out as trans in December.
In a heartfelt social media post, Page spoke of his pride in being transgender and opened up about the “invasiveness, the hate, the ‘jokes’ and violence” that come with being openly trans.

The actor, who made his breakthrough in Juno, wrote on social media: “Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot.
“I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life.”
Elliot Page will continue playing Vanya Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy, a cisgender woman who can absorb sound to gain energy and unleash fury on victims, Variety reported in December.
According to insiders, writers are not planning on making any changes to the character’s gender.
Page was previously credited with their old name in the first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy, but Netflix promptly updated his details after he publicly came out as trans.
