Every movie and TV show coming to Disney Plus in October 2021 including American Horror Story

Disney Plus has announced the films and TV series joining the streaming service in October 2021.

This month Disney Plus will release the new American Horror Story series in the UK, alongside spooky and fun Halloween favourites.

The films and shows will all be available to stream as part of a Disney Plus subscription, which costs £7.99 per month or £79.90.

A much-anticipated launch on the platform this month is the tenth American Horror Story series, entitled Double Feature.

The series will be divided into two parts, Red Tide, which takes place “by the sea” and Death Valley which takes place “by the sand”.

It stars regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock and Angelica Ross alongside Macaulay Culkin.

The first episode will be available to stream on 20 October, with the following episodes being released every Wednesday, and fans canexpect mysterious figures and storylines throughout.

Plus the entire ninth season, American Horror Story: 1984, will drop on 13 October, while the spin-off anthology series American Horror Stories will continue to be released weekly, also on Wednesdays.

Another big release that will be available to all subscribers is Marvel’s Black Widow, fronted by Scarlett Johansson.

The film was released on Disney+ earlier this year, with premiere access alongside its cinema release, but now you’ll be able to stream it as much as you like as part of the standard subscription.

The Black Widow / Natasha Romanoff solo project also stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Rachel Weisz and takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War.

The plot follows Romanoff on the run and forced to confront her past as she is reunited with her “family” and her former role as an assassin.

An original series from Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi that’s joining the platform this month is the coming-of-age comedy, Reservation Dogs.

The half-hour series follows the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order “to get to the exotic, faraway land of California.”

The show, which debuts on 13 October, has been created by a first-of-its-kind Indigenous creative team, who invites audience into a surprisingly familiar and funny world.

There are also some classic Halloween films to get stuck into including the iconic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, as well as The Hills Have Eyes, Scary Movie 4 and Ready or Not.

Plus the first two seasons of What We Do in the Shadows will be available on the streaming service on 6 October.

The mockumentary comedy horror series is based on the 2014 film of the same name and follows the lives of three traditional vampires who are interacting with the modern world.

It’s third season is currently airing in the US and it’s already been renewed for a fourth season, so you can catch up with it before they both arrive in the UK.
