TikTok drag queen star Pattie Gonia teams up with The North Face for a truly camp Pride collection

TikTok star Pattie Gonia has teamed up with The North Face for its Pride 2022 collection.

The North Face has released its Pride Month 2022 collection – and it’s giving camp, literally.

To mark the collection, the outdoor clothing brand has teamed up with TikTok’s favourite drag queen and environmentalist, Pattie Gonia.

The limited edition range features apparel including t-shirts, tank tops and The North Face’s signature jackets, all redesigned with rainbow to mark Pride.

It’s now available to shop at thenorthface.co.uk/pride and thenorthface.com/pride.

The campaign stars TikTok’s “environmentalist, drag queen, and professional homosexual”, Pattie Gonia.

Since posting their first TikTok in December 2020, they’ve used their account to promote environmental activism, while looking fabulous.

Their videos, which includes one of them rock climbing in heels, have garnered more than 1 million likes on the platform.

For this campaign they’ve put together a literal tent for an outfit, alongside a matching silver walking stick.

The star of the campaign says: “The LGBTQ+ community needs to be everywhere – especially the outdoors.

“We’re here, we’re queer, and we’re enjoying the outdoors. This collaboration helps expand exploration for everyone, especially the LGBTQ+ community who are vastly underrepresented in the outdoor community.”

The latest collection features a tank top, t-shirt and hoodie available in black or white alongside a Pride edition of The North Face Logo.

A stand out piece from the range is the brand’s signature puffer jacket, which features the Pride logo and a rainbow design on the inside of the jacket.

It’s finished up with a tote bag – because what gays don’t love a tote bag – with prices ranging from £22-£270.

The North Face Pride collection features gender neutral hoodies, t-shirts and more.

The North Face has confirmed it is donating €1 for every product from its Pride Collection to European-based Queer climb, GAYCS and The Mark Scott Leadership For Life Award.

This year, the brand is also expanding its multi-year partnership with Brave Trails in the US, an organization and residential summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth centered on leadership and skills development.

This year The North Face plans to donate $100,000 to Brave Trails to help support its work, particularly the development of its “Forever Home,” a new overnight summer camp facility based in Santa Clarita, California.

The camp, which spans 54 acres in the Angeles National Forest, will be the first LGBTQ+ camp solely dedicated to queer youth leadership and community-building in the world.
