Sarah Jessica Parker has teased fans with a glimpse of a script from the second season of Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That…

The show, which has been confirmed to be in production, brings Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davies’ Sex and the City characters back together again, minus Kim Cattrall.

Season one of And Just Like That… ended to mixed critical responses at the start of 2022, however, the girls will be back again for round two.

The caption for Parker’s Instagram post reads “just this much. For now. X, SJ” and fans have loved the news, posting about their joy under the picture.

“And just like that…. I got real excited!!!!”

“YESSSSSS CANNOT WAIT,” one person said.

Another added: “Praise the lord.”

Parker, who plays New York fashionista Carrie Bradshaw, isn’t the only one to tease the upcoming season; non-binary actress Sara Ramirez posted a picture of the covers of the scripts for the season’s first two episodes, as well as their name card.

Ramirez plays Che Diaz, who is the love interest of Nixon’s Miranda.

The first series of And Just Like That… featured a steamy sex scene between the two that left fans ‘thrilled’ and haunted in equal measure.

Evan Handler, who plays Harry (husband of Davis’ character Charlotte), has also shared pictures of the table read and the entrance of the Silvercup Studios in New York.

A notable absence from those who have shared photos is Chris Noth, who was cut from the finale of season one after multiple allegations of sexual assault.

His character Mr Big was killed off in the first episode of season one, but had been reportedly due to appear as a vision to Carrie before the allegations came to light.

He will not be appearing in season two; in ghost-form or otherwise.

Noth has categorically denied the claims, calling them a “complete fabrication”.

In the wake of the allegations, Noth was also dropped from his role in CBS’ The Equaliser, he parted ways with his talent agency and has had his Peloton advertisement pulled by the exercise bike brand.
