The Celebrity Traitors UK 2025 line-up has officially been confirmed, and some very famous LGBTQ+ faces are in the mix.
The castle doors will be flung open wide to welcome an all-star cast, from comedian Alan Carr to retired Olympic diver Tom Daley, for the celebrity edition of The Traitors.
Once again, TV legend Claudia Winkleman hosts the multi-award-winning show, which sees participants play the ultimate game of betrayal, backstabbing, and psychological tests in the hopes of winning up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
The celebrities must complete a series of challenges as a team; however, among them are the eponymous traitors who are secretly sabotaging the missions with the aim of ‘killing’ off the contestant one by one.

The nine-part celebrity version is coming to BBC One and iPlayer this autumn, and it has recently started filming.
Speaking about the upcoming celebrity edition, Claudia Winkleman said: “We’re incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes, I’d love to say we’ll take it easy on them and they’ll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie.”
The confirmed line-up matches the rumoured one leaked in April, meaning that those joining the iconic-fringed host in the Scottish Highlands are LGBTQ+ allies Charlotte Church and Paloma Faith, comedians Joe Wilkinson and Lucy Beaumont, presenter Kate Garraway, talk show host Jonathan Ross, former rugby union star Joe Marler, actors Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Tameka Empson and Celia Imrie, historian David Olusoga and YouTuber Niko Omilana.
But who are The Celebrity Traitors UK’s five LGBTQ+ stars hoping to claim the cash prize? They are:

Alan Carr
Comedian Alan Carr is sure to be a hoot with contestants and Winkleman at the Scottish castle.
The 48-year-old chatty man will inevitably stir the drama and provide ample entertainment, as he did for seven years with his TV show.
The Interior Design Masters host may also give his thoughts on the castle’s grandiose interiors while trying to (or avoiding) backstabbing his fellow contestants.
Carr’s career has seen him join forces with fellow celeb Amanda Holden, co-hosting the show Amanda And Alan’s Italian Job, Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job and the forthcoming Amanda and Alan’s Greek Job.
His private life also made news when he divorced his partner, Paul Drayton. The pair were married from 2018 to 2022, but separated following Drayton’s conviction for drink-driving.

Clare Balding
Broadcast, journalist and author Clare Balding will also be competing; her first appearance in a reality TV show.
The 54-year-old is known for her keen sports reporting eye, but will her same attention to detail help her in Celebrity Traitors UK?
Balding came out as a lesbian in 2003, after almost a decade of hiding her sexuality. Since coming out publicly, Balding has been candid about her worries that revealing that she was a lesbian would negatively impact her broadcasting career.
In 2006, Balding entered a civil partnership with broadcaster and journalist Alice Arnold. In 2015, the pair then married in a private ceremony.

Cat Burns
One of the youngest members of The Celebrity Traitors 2025 line-up, 24-year-old singer-songwriter Cat Burns is representing Gen Z lesbians, and we’ll be cheering her on!
The artist might be able to channel her moving lyricism to get her fellow competitors on her side.
Burns has been open about her experience at the intersection between her sexual identity and being Black.
In an interview, Burns said: “If you’re a Black woman, I want you to feel heard and seen. We are vulnerable people who are capable of having lots of emotions. And, being a Black queer woman adds a layer to that.”
Burns’ appearance on the show comes after she toured last year following the release of her debut album, Early Twenties.

Tom Daley
Retired Olympic diver turned knitting enthusiast, Tom Daley, will be diving into the game of lies and deception.
The 30-year-old will put his sporting instincts into trying to manoeuvre himself in this psychological challenge.
Daley came out in 2013 and married his husband, American film screenwriter, director and producer Dustin Lance Black, in 2017.
Their first child, Robbie, was born through surrogacy in June 2018, and their second child, Phoenix, was born in 2023.

Stephen Fry
The Celebrity Traitors 2025 line-up also includes Sir Stephen Fry, who will will be one of the oldest to enter the Scottish castle, ready to try and win the grand prize.
The legendary 67-year-old English actor, broadcaster, comedian, director, narrator, and writer recently received a knighthood in the 2025 New Year’s honours list alongside the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and former England manager Gareth Southgate.
Wilde’s prestigious acting career may help him on Celebrity Traitors UK. If he is a traitor, those acting skills could help him make it to the end of the contest.
In February, when rumours of his appearance on the show were floating, Fry told Metro that while he couldn’t speak about the potential of him participating, he was a fan of the show: “I think it’s brilliant.
“I’m not usually a fan of what you might call reality TV, but I think of it more as a game than reality TV, it’s just a very clever game, simple but complex as well.
“I’m a terrible liar [though],” he said, before laughing: “Or am I?”
He mused that he’d like to think of himself as a faithful but noted: “In a sense we’re all traitors too, aren’t we?”
“We’re traitors to ourselves, we let ourselves down, betray our ideals… Gosh, that got serious very quickly, didn’t it? What happened there? [Laughs]’
