Terry Dubrow, the husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow, has spoken about raising gay, bisexual and transgender children.
Plastic surgeon and Botched doctor Terry and his wife have four children: Max, who is bisexual, his twin brother Nick, lesbian Kat, and Ace, who is trans.
He believed they were “chosen” to raise a “rainbow of kids”, he told E! News.
“If we can change hearts and minds by showing how our version of a normal, supportive family can be, we’re in.”

The couple have frequently spoke out about parenting LGBTQ+ children. Last year, while on the red carpet for the annual Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala, Terry said: “I am grateful for the platform that Heather has with Housewives, it allows us to support the LGBTQ community. Our family is very involved with it, and not a lot of platforms would necessarily allow you to support them in that way.
“We feel blessed to be part of the community.”
Heather added, that in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election and the gains made by Republicans in congress: “These… challenging times [are] concerning for all families. The most important thing is to stay in our community and keep talking to [one another], reaching out to friends and making sure people are [OK].”
She has been praised by other celebs for her supportive parenting style, with pop megastar Rihanna saying in 2022 that she loved “the way [Heather] just allows her kids to be who they are, that’s really inspiring to me”.
