Demi Lovato sent fans into a frenzy as she joined a recent Jonas Brothers concert to sing a throwback Camp Rock medley, causing Camp Rock 3 rumours to start circulating online.

On Sunday (10 August), the 32-year-old “Cool for the Summer” singer and actress performed with the brothers (Joe, Kevin and Nick) during their JONAS20 tour show at MetLife Stadium.

Demi Lovato walked out on stage as the brother trio performed “Gotta Find You” from Camp Rock.

Then, Demi and Joe performed their signature duets “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing”, 17 years after the Disney Channel movie.

The performance also marked Demi’s collaboration with ex-boyfriend Joe, who she dated in 2010.

Fans were in hysterics about the performance! One shared: “IM NEVER SHUTTING UP ABOUT THIS MY SOUL LEFT MY LITERAL BODY THE JONAS BROTHERS REALLY BROUGHT OUT DEMI LOVATO IN THE YEAR 2025.”

Another posted: “2000s kids just fell to their knees.”

Demi herself posted on Instagram after the gig, thanking the brothers for having her.

In Camp Rock, Demi Lovato plays a teenage girl, Mitchie, who works in the kitchen at a prestigious music summer camp, Camp Rock.

Is Camp Rock 3 happening?

The reunion has sparked rumours about Camp Rock 3, a follow-up to the 2010 Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Speculation about a third Camp Rock film has been circulating before this performance.

Though there were early reports that a third movie was entering production, there has been no official announcement or confirmation of plans.

The speculation has suggested that Demi would return with a cameo appearance as a new cast would be selected for a modern storyline.

In 2017, Joe joked with Marie Claire that he would be down for an R-rated spinoff.

“Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark. An adult film. Well, not an adult film. An R-rated film,” Jonas said at the time. “We’ve joked around about the idea a couple times.”

So Demi’s performance may be a coincidence, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for another Camp Rock instalment.
