Chloë Grace Moretz has married wife Kate Harrison in a private ceremony featuring line dancing, fishing – and a baby blue wedding dress for the Kick Ass star.

Moretz, 29, who came out as gay while endorsing then-Democratic nominee Kamala Harris proposed to her partner, model and photographer Kate Harrison, at the start of this year.

And just nine months later, as confirmed to Vogue, the pair have tied to knot – with some stunning bridal couture helping them down the aisle.

In a video for Vogue charting the reveal of the pair’s wedding outfits and after party looks at the Louis Vuitton Atelier in Paris, Moretz explained why she went for the baby blue shade for her version of the former, rather than the customary white.

“The birth of the colour started when I went to the Academy Gala with [Louis Vuitton], and I wore this blue leather dress,” she shared, referencing her appearance at the 2023 Academy Museum Gala at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

“I remember immediately taking to Nell [Kalonji, her stylist], and I was like: ‘Maybe we should think about doing this again.

“And then I proposed to Kate, and I was like: ‘I think we should do blue for the wedding dress.'”

“Words can’t begin to express how this feels. Thank you,” Moretz wrote above a shot of the dress on her Instagram.

“Your generosity, artistry, dedication and kindness knows no bounds. We feel so incredibly grateful. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but, thank you. Your vision made our day all the more meaningful,” she added, addressing Louis Vuitton and French fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière.

“It just feels like me,” Moretz told Vogue. “I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.”

Moretz’s after party look featured an all white ensemble comprised of a cowboy hat, jacket and trousers.

Though no images of the wedding have yet been released, Moretz explained that the event will “share things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s going to be there.”

She added: “So there’s fishing, horseback riding, and poker. Kate made a custom poker mat herself, so we’re going to kind of be leaning into it. Our second day is going to be line dancing and everything.”

Congratulations!
