Luke Evans’ supermodel ex Jon Kortajarena becomes a dad: ‘He’s very happy’

Jon Kortajarena has reportedly welcomed his first child, with people close to the Spanish model and actor said to have described him as “very happy” and keen to handle the news “with the utmost naturalness”.
The claims began circulating after Spanish journalist Marta Riesco shared a post on X on 14 April.
Spanish outlet ¡Hola! has also confirmed the birth after reportedly speaking to people close to Kortajarena.
Kortajarena, who dated Welsh actor Luke Evans between 2014 and 2016, has not made any official statement regarding the reported baby news. Details such as the baby’s gender and whether Kortajarena is raising the baby on his own have not been revealed.
Reports that Kortajarena had become a dad emerged after the supermodel was seen pushing a baby stroller around the streets of Bilbao, Spain.
Friends have reportedly said “he’s very happy”, while people close to him said he wants to approach this new chapter “with the utmost naturalness.”
Kortajarena on wanting to be a parent
Kortajarena previously spoke about wanting to have a child in a 2018 interview with Divinity. “It’s an experience I don’t want to miss. I don’t know when the time will be; life will tell. But ultimately, having a child has to be a huge experience, a very interesting shift in priorities,” he said. He added: “Life is long, and every moment has its place. If you organise yourself well, you can live them all intensely.”
A Basque Spanish model who broke out internationally in the mid-2000s, Kortajarena has become one of the most prominent out gay male models of his generation, with a career spanning major luxury campaigns and acting roles in Spanish-language film and television.
