Heated Rivalry Scott and Kip lookalike contest coming after Shane and Ilya winners dated

François Arnaud as Scott Hunter and Robbie GK as Kip Grady

Heated Rivalry fans get excited – because a Scott Hunter and Kip Grady lookalike contest is happening in a matter of days.

The gay hockey drama is showing no sign of falling out of popularity, with lead stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie even making their Met Gala debuts this week.

Recently, a contest to find Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov lookalikes ended with huge success, with the winners even going on a date after sharing a kiss during the competition.

Now, the organisers behind that competition are hosting a lookalike contest for Scott, played by François Arnaud, and Kip, played by Robbie GK.

Lucy Nuñez is teaming up again with German beer venue Wunder Garten for another Heated Rivalry lookalike contest, set for Saturday, 16 May.

Fans of ‘Heated Rivalry’ took their love for the hockey romance to another level at a look-alike contest in Washington, DC, on Saturday (4 April), and things got pretty steamy. The event, held at Wunder Garten, quickly went viral online after contestants dressed as Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov didn’t just pose for the crowd, but made out to decide the winner. The viral moment, captured in this clip from Instagram user _ohheyitskarla_ showed the Ilya look-alike winner kissing both Shane finalists in front of a cheering audience. 📷 IG: _ohheyitskarla_ #HeatedRivalry #washingtondc #ShaneHollander #ConnorStorrie #LGBTQIA

In an Instagram video announcing it, Nuñez said: “We’re having a Scott and Kip Heated Rivalry lookalike contest on Saturday, May 16th at 4pm at Wunder Garten. Send this to a lookalike and tell them they have to compete. Help me find the lookalikes.”

The prize is yet to be announced, but if it goes as well as the Shane and Ilya contest, then the winners may get a date.

The winners – Aram Matagi (Shane) and Felix Eller (Ilya) – went on a date after their, ahem, heated performance.

Nuñez told Hollywood Rebound: “I’m always happy to see any couple have a meet cute and have the beginning of a love story, but it just makes me especially happy to see a gay couple living their love story proudly and publicly.”
