Bobby Norris slams ‘judgement’ from stranger in bandaged video after facelift

Bobby Norris has posted a throwback Instagram video post showing his face swollen and bandaged during recovery after cosmetic surgery in Turkey, alongside a pointed message about the judgement he says he has faced since having a facelift at 39.
In the clip, the former The Only Way Is Essex star films himself wearing a facial compression garment while eating lunch, before talking about an encounter he says happened when he stepped outside for fresh air. “Ain’t it funny how some people are just so judgy in life?” Norris says to camera.
He goes on to describe being looked at by someone he refers to as “a lady of the night”, saying he had been outside for “about six or seven minutes” when the moment happened. “But she looked at me like I farted in her Gucci handbag! She didn’t have a Gucci handbag, but you know what I’m saying,” he adds.
Norris also stresses that he has tried to be open about cosmetic work. “I’m not one of these people who says ‘I just drink two litres of water a day and I’ve been up the Body Shop getting a honey and oatmeal scrub, and that’s why I look how I look’, do you know what I mean? I own my mud,” he says.

What Bobby Norris has said about surgery
Norris has spoken publicly about his decision to have cosmetic surgery after a period in which he said he was getting fillers frequently.
He linked that decision to a 10-year window of using fillers “every 12 weeks”, as well as the impact of online trolling.
He has also discussed showing his recovery process on social media, framing it as part of being honest with people who have followed him for years.
He discussed the facelift on This Morning last month and said he was “still swollen” after the procedures. He underwent surgeries in March including a neck and face lift and a lower blepharoplasty.
