Pornhub launches new Sapphic site for lesbian and queer women
Pornhub has launched a dedicated site for WLW content and creators (Pornhub)
Pornhub has launched its new site designed for women-loving-women audiences, dedicated to lesbian and non-binary content and creators, Pornhub Sapphic.
The adult website says the new launch prioritises the experience of women, and how they engage with the content on the site.
Alex Kekesi, VP of Brand and Community at Pornhub, said: “Pornhub Sapphic was created in direct response to feedback from lesbian, queer, and straight women who told us they wanted an experience that felt made for them.
“By working with creators and users, we’ve built a space where women-loving-women content is featured and celebrated.
“For creators, Pornhub Sapphic offers new opportunities to connect with an engaged audience actively seeking their categories of content.
“For viewers, it’s about providing women with a dedicated place to explore and enjoy adult entertainment with their experiences and desires in mind.”
“Lesbian” is the most-viewed category among women, who make up 38% of the site’s audience globally.
Audience feedback has helped the design of the Sapphic site experience, with ads targeted to men, such as enlargement promotions, not appearing.
It features content specifically for the female gaze and advertising focused on women.
Sapphic creators including TheJellyFilledGirls are part of the formal rollout of the new site.
They said: “We know firsthand how much demand there is for authentic women-loving-women content. We’re thrilled to welcome Pornhub Sapphic and be part of bringing it to the sapphic community.”
