Everyone is saying same thing about giant Lionel Messi statue in Patagonia

A giant statue of Lionel Messi has been erected in Patagonia, and everyone on the internet is saying the same thing.
The tribute to the football star, which was unveiled on 24 June to mark his 39th birthday, stands at 85 feet tall and can be found in the remote town of Cutral Col in Argentina.
However, many people have raised their eyebrows about the statue’s pose, which sees Messi crouching, mid-kneeslide, with his arms in the air and a trophy between his thighs.
“This angle and position is definitely a choice,” wrote one X user.
“Where are the pants? Why is his b**** out?” asked another, referring to the fact that, from certain angles, the trophy between Messi’s legs looks like something else entirely.

“Pilgrimage to touch the gigantic World Cup Messi c*** and balls statue,” suggested a third.
Messi made World Cup history this week when he broke former Germany striker Miroslav Klose’s all-time tournament goal record while scoring his 17th and 18th goals in a match against Austria. Argentina won the match 2-0.
The Cutral Col statue is not the only monument to honour Lionel Messi.
A whopping 70-foot-tall statue with his likeness was erected in Kolkata in India in December last year. It took 27 days to build and was erected during a promotional tour of India that Messi undertook with some of his Inter Miami teammates.
However, local authorities in the area ordered the statue’s removal earlier this month because of safety concerns.
“The statue of the Argentine football legend was found [to be] unsafe,” said West Bengal state legislator Sharadwat Mukherjee. “We have noticed that the statue is swaying in the wind.”
During its short tenure, it boasted the title of the largest statue of a footballer ever created. However, that title has now been overtaken by the monument in Patagonia.
