Donald Trump jokes about having ‘threesome’ with his sons

Donald Trump has raised eyebrows after joking that he wanted to have a “threesome” with his two eldest sons, during a speech about the Medal of Honor.

The US president made the remark on Tuesday (1 July) at the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, with Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump seated in the audience.

Trump had been reflecting on the only two father-and-son pairs to receive the Medal of Honor, the US military’s highest award, Theodore Roosevelt and his son Theodore Roosevelt Jr, and Arthur MacArthur and his son Douglas MacArthur, before turning to his own sons, Donald Jr and Eric.

“As I see my two beautiful sons sitting there, I think I’m going to give one to myself, one to them, and we’ll have a threesome, OK?” he said.

He went on to suggest he would award his sons the medal “for their genius at hunting”, and one to himself for “taking on Russia, Russia, Russia”, before adding: “No, I’m only kidding.”

Footage of the moment quickly spread across social media.

People responded to the clip calling him “the most corrupt President”, pointing out that he was using a teleprompter, meaning he had prepared the speech.
