Tom Daley ‘dances for champagne’ as he shows off abs in tiny trunks

Tom Daley has left fans hot under the collar as he stripped down to some tiny swimming trunks in a recent Instagram post.

The Olympian posted a series of three photos of himself on a boat wearing nothing but a pair of black trunks, with the words “dance gayboy dance for champagne” written on the back, by designer Patrick Church.

Daley, who hosts Channel 4’s knitting and crochet competition show Game of Wool, captioned the shot with three emojis, instead letting his rippling abs do all the talking.

In another photo, Daley posed with his back to the camera, giving fans a chance to read the message on the trunks, while the third was a close-up, showing him tugging at the bottom of the trunks.

Unsurprisingly, the comments section was full of thirst, with many leaving heart-eye or flame emojis.

One person commented: “I suddenly crave champagne.” Another added: “Fine set of cakes.” A third wrote: “I could look at you all day.”

An avid knitter and crocheter, Daley also recently teamed up with Patrick Church for a collaboration range. He modelled much of the clothing options, which take inspiration from his diving career, and feature the phrase “head over heels”.

There were also a limited number of one-of-a-kind art pieces which combined hand-painted images by Church, as well as knitted or crocheted elements by Daley.

Since leaving the world of diving, Daley has been busy making his hobbies a career, launching his brand Made With Love. His brand sells a range of yarns and patterns for knitters and crocheters.

He also fronts Channel 4’s Game of Wool: Britain’s Best Knitter, which launched in 2025. It was confirmed the show would be back for a second season in March of this year, with casting opening in April.

He told PinkNews in November 2025: “At the moment, I’ve been making yarns that have been very specific, whereas I’m hoping to try and create yarns and have patterns that are accessible for everyone.

“So my plan is to try and grow Made With Love.

“I’ve gone from my job of diving to then going into knitting and crochet, but I want to be able to make it like an actual full time thing.”
