A report claims Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed a baby girl named Rose Bean Polansky, with possible inspirations for the name also suggested.
TMZ said it obtained the baby’s birth certificate, which it claims lists Rose Bean Polansky as being born on 9 June at 11:19 PM at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The outlet wrote: “Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky ’s baby is a girl named Rose … TMZ has learned.”
TMZ also reported that the baby was delivered by Dr. Robert Katz.
Possible meaning behind ‘Rose Bean’
In its write-up, TMZ said: “It’s unclear where the name Rose Bean originated from … however Gaga has a large rose down her spine that she got to commemorate her performance of ‘La Vie En Rose’ in the film ‘A Star is Born.’”
It also suggested the middle name Bean “may have been inspired by singer/activist Carl Bean”, adding that Gaga’s hit “I Was Born This Way” pulled inspiration from him.
Engagement rumours and earlier sightings
The new claims follow earlier reports that Gaga and Polansky had welcomed their first child after paparazzi photos appeared to show them walking in Northern California with Gaga carrying a baby.
Despite rumours it is not believed that Gaga and Polansky have got married, instead remaining engaged since the proposal in 2024.
