Gay adult star Alfonso Osnaya ‘knocked out’ in attack outside San Francisco bar

Gay adult performer and model Alfonso Osnaya says he was knocked out outside San Francisco’s LGBTQ+ bar Beaux after a confrontation he believes was driven by stigma towards his line of work within queer nightlife.
Osnaya said the incident happened last Thursday morning after an altercation that began inside Beaux in the Castro District. “I got beat up last Thursday morning by a group of gay guys,” he told Out.
Osnaya said a group of men taunted him inside the venue and that he initially walked away, before being confronted again outside. “I took the bait from some judgmental comments and I was alone. They were waiting for me outside. I got knocked out, and the next thing I knew, I had the people from Beaux helping me out while the paramedics and cops did their job. Everyone was very sweet, and thankfully, nothing serious happened,” Osnaya added.
He also explained why he thinks the situation escalated. “They were mocking me for my job. They claimed to know who I was and what I did for a living. I took that very personally. I guess I took the bait and I feel stupid. They were instigating things. They were out looking for a fight. I should’ve disengaged.”
What Osnaya shared after the attack
Osnaya said he posted on his Instagram Story shortly after the incident, telling followers he had been “attacked” in the Castro.
He also shared a photo showing a cut above his right eyebrow, alongside the caption: “This is how s*** shaming looks like,” he wrote.
Stigma and safety in the Castro
The Castro District is one of the most historically significant LGBTQ+ neighbourhoods in the US, and a symbol of queer nightlife and ongoing debates about community safety.
Conversations about stigma towards adult work, often framed as “s*** shaming”, regularly surface within queer communities, particularly around dating and nightlife spaces.
Osnaya began his adult entertainment career in 2021 and has worked for studios including Falcon, Trailer Trash Boys, SayUncle, Carnal and Lucas Entertainment.
