Owner of Gaga fanpage says he was in Russian prison for 2 years for “protesting against government”

A Lady Gaga fanpage revealed to his 483,500+ followers that he was actually in prison for the last two years, and is experiencing Gaga’s MAYHEM era for the first time.
‘Gaga Daily’ is a blog and social media account that provides updates on singer Lady Gaga. The account owner, Kirill, who is from Russia, went on to explain that in early 2024 he was arrested and sentenced to over two years in prison for “protesting against the government”
On 22 September, Kirill posted a statement to X addressing his absence, saying “I was literally in prison.”
He said that all social media posts from 2009 through to 2024 were from him, but during his imprisonment his account was run by his friends Christian and Anthony.
He said that his friends “have done such an incredible job” at running the account, and assured his followers that he is “out now, I’m safe, and I can’t wait to get back to doing something I love so much.”

Kirill was imprisoned when Gaga released her sixth solo studio album, MAYHEM, in March 2025. He has been live tweeting his reaction to the album since his release, saying:
“Please excuse me if I act like it’s my first time experiencing the MAYHEM era because it literally is.”
In his update, Kirill went on to say; “I’m incredibly touched and grateful for all the tweets and messages of support you guys have sent my way. I love this community so much, and it feels surreal that so many people who don’t know each other, whose only connection is something as silly as loving the same pop star, can form such a strong bond that lasts for so many years.”
Finishing the statement off with: “LG8 when?”
