Nicole Scherzinger suffers horror burns before Pussycat Dolls concert

Nicole Scherzinger has said she was scalded by boiling water about an hour before a Pussycat Dolls show in Düsseldorf, but still went on stage.
The 48-year-old shared an image of her painful injury in an Instagram story message, writing: “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set, but the show must go on.”
The burn happened ahead of the group’s gig at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, on the ongoing PCD Forever Tour.
Scherzinger’s image showed the nasty burn running right down her leg from her knee to her ankle.
In the same Instagram story message, Scherzinger thanked the crowd for getting her through it, adding: “Thanks Dusseldorf for keeping me going.”
Fans couldn’t believe the performer managed to hit the stage after seeing her injury.
One said on X: “That sounds incredibly painful. Performing just an hour after suffering a serious burn takes tremendous courage and dedication. Wishing Nicole Scherzinger a smooth and speedy recovery.”
PCD Forever Tour
The Düsseldorf incident has landed mid-way through a comeback run for the group, who are currently touring as a trio.
In March 2026, it was announced Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt were returning as The Pussycat Dolls without former members Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta or Melody Thornton.
Days after the reunion was announced, Bachar thanked the group’s LGBTQ+ fans, explaining she had not been approached for the tour.
She said: “While this is disappointing on a personal level, I remain proud of the role I played in helping shape what The Pussycat Dolls became.”
The tour follows the group cancelling all but one date of the US leg of their run, reportedly due to poor ticket sales.
In a statement shared in an Instagram post, the group said: “When we announced the PCD Forever Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.”
