Hudson Williams calls for arrests in Cornell ‘frat assault’ case

Hudson Williams has called for the arrest of seven fraternity members who are named in a civil lawsuit over an alleged sexual assault at Cornell University, after prosecutors said they would reexamine the case.
On 29 September, the Heated Rivalry actor posted an Instagram story on his official account showing photographs of seven men alongside a message that read: “Arrest them. F*** them and f*** Cornell too.”
The civil lawsuit remains pending. Attorneys representing the named defendants have called the allegations false, and no criminal charges had been filed against the seven men as of 29 September 2026.
Why prosecutors say they are looking again
Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten said on 28 September 2026 that his office would reexamine the case after the civil lawsuit described events differently from Jane Doe’s initial 2024 statement to police.
Van Houten said that the earlier statement described the drug use and sexual activity as voluntary. He also said a senior prosecutor experienced in sex crimes would prepare the matter for a grand jury with Jane Doe’s cooperation.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on the night of 19 October 2024 at the Chi Phi fraternity house on Cornell’s campus in Ithaca, New York. Jane Doe reported the matter to Cornell University Police on 8 November 2024.
What Cornell has said
In a statement posted on 28 September, Cornell said it supported the district attorney’s decision to reexamine the case and said its own investigation followed federal law and university policy. It added that claims of only minimal consequences were false.
Cornell also said it suspended the local Chi Phi chapter and the seven students on the same day the incident was reported to Cornell University Police on 8 November 2024. The Chi Phi chapter was closed in 2024 and remains barred from campus.
The renewed attention has also drawn other celebrity reactions. Florence Pugh posted about the case on Instagram on 27 September, calling the alleged events an “horrific act” and urging men to speak out.
