Dancing With the Stars week 3 ended with Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart being eliminated in a moment described as leaving the studio audience “shocked and silent”.
Hanson could be seen reacting with a simple: “Wow.” The result made Hanson and Stewart the fourth couple to depart the competition this season.
They joined Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman, Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills, and Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten, who have already been eliminated.
The night also reshaped the leaderboard. At the end of week 3, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov and Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson were tied at the top, while Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson sat at the bottom.
Who is still in the competition after DWTS week 3?
With Hanson and Stewart out, twelve couples remain in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy.

They will be aiming to impress judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli as the season continues.
Hanson is best known as a member of pop-rock band Hanson, which broke through in the late 1990s with “MMMBop”. Stewart is one of the show’s professional dancers.
When is the next DWTS episode and what is the theme?
The competition resumes Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available the next day on Hulu.
Next up is “Yacht Rock Night”, with the official episode logline teasing: “Thirteen remaining couples cruise into “Yacht Rock Night,” with performances set to smooth grooves, soft-rock classics and iconic hits that defined the yacht rock era.”
