Camden Police are releasing an e-fit and appealing for information in identifying a man sought in connection with a rape of a man in the Euston area in September 2006.

At approximately 0300 on 04/09/2006 a 34-year-old male victim left GAY Late bar in Goslett Yard WC2 after a night out.

Outside he met a man on a blue BMX bike and they chatted and the victim eventually left with the man to go to the mans home.

When the two men reached a park area in Euston Road near Euston Station the victim challenged the male as to where they were going.

At this point the male then forced the victim to the ground, and raped him.

The victim described his attacker as a white male aged approx. 27-28 years-old, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, with a slim build. He spoke with an Irish accent, had blue eyes and skinhead/very short hairstyle.

At the time of the attack the suspect was wearing blue sweater jacket, black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the leg, white trainers with grey laces.

It is possible that he lives in or around the Euston/Sommerstown area near where the attack took place.

The incident is being investigated by Camden Police Sapphire Unit.
