Video: Trans star Dana International misses out on Eurovision final
Israeli singer Dana International was knocked out of the Eurovision Song Contest last night at the semi-final in Dusseldorf.
The star, who is transgender, performed her song Ding Dong but failed to win a place in Saturday’s final.

She won the contest for Israel in 1998 and since then, has released eight albums, making her one of Israel’s most successful pop acts.
Britain’s Blue and Ireland’s Jedward both won a place in the final.
Jedward, who performed last night in red sequinned jackets, are the second favourites to win the competition after France.
Bookies Paddy Power have placed them in second position with odds of 3/1. France are on 13/8.
