A Tumblr user has polled 655 Grindr users to ascertain how they will vote in today’s Scottish independence referendum.

The poll, conducted by Tom Court, and published on his Tumblr page, asked 655 users the same question: “Do you think Scotland should become an independent country?”

While some users responded briefly to the question to say yes or no, some went further to explain their reasoning.

Out of the responses, Court said 114 people said they would vote no, and 101 said they would vote yes. Further catgeories inccluded undecided, with 24 Grindr users, other opinion which contained 20.

15 respondents were indifferent, 38 were evasive, 13 were bemused, 2 were amused, 4 rejected the poll and 6 were too horny to answer. 318 of the users did not respond.

Court summarised the poll, saying: “So there you have it. When only decisive opinions are taken into account, Grindr votes NO to independence, with a 54-46% split. If this is reflected in the results of tomorrow’s referendum, we can assume the headless torsos have taken over Scotland and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.”
