Zayn Malik takes it as a “compliment” to be a gay sex symbol

The international sex symbol that is Zayn Malik takes it as a “compliment” if men find him attractive.

The cover star of Paper magazine’s ‘SEXY’ issue and former member of One Direction opened up about his aesthetic and how he feels about being a heartthrob.

“If girls find me attractive, then that’s a cool thing,” Zayn says. “If guys find me attractive, then that’s a cool thing as well. It’s sick. It’s a compliment.”

“I’m blessed by whoever was up there to be who I am and be able to do what I do,” he added, “I genuinely mean that.

Last month, Azealia Banks wrote about the singer, referring to him as a “faggot”, a “sand nigga”, a “d**k rider”, a “punjab” and a “paki”.

She added: “your mother is a dirty refugee who won’t be granted asylum”.

Though she has made homophobic comments in the past with little blowback, there has been a strong backlash this week over the racist comments – with Banks humiliatingly axed by a UK music festival she was set to headline.

She was later suspended from Twitter over the incident, before finally issuing a proper apology.

Late last year, Zayn insisted that all of the members of One Direction are straight, explaining: “There’s no secret relationships going on with any of the band members.”
