In photos: London mayor Sadiq Khan leads city’s Pride parade

London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan led the city’s Pride parade on Saturday.
Mr Khan, who is one of the country’s most prominent pro-LGBT Muslim politicians, was elected Mayor of London last month.
Earlier this year, the Labour politician had told PinkNews he would restore the Mayor’s role leading the Pride parade – after previous Mayor Boris Johnson was absent for five years in a row.
True to his word, Mr Khan led the parade through the city on Monday, alongside US Ambassador Matthew Barzun – in solidarity with the victims of the Orlando shootings.
