BTS and Halsey stun queer fans with ‘Boy With Luv’ collaboration reveal

BTS has announced that its next song will be a collaboration with bisexual singer Halsey, and queer fans are ecstatic.

On Sunday (April 7), BTS dropped the teaser trailer for “Boy With Luv,” the first single from the new album Map of the Soul: Persona, which comes out on April 12.

The video shows Halsey on duty at a ticket booth before she locks up, walks away and passes BTS outside the cinema—which is called Persona.

Despite only featuring a few seconds of music, the video has been viewed more than 14 million times.

Queer fans are happy about BTS and Halsey collaborating

The news prompted a delighted reaction from many fans of the South Korean boy band and the American singer.

One person wrote: “halsey and bts said: this one is for the bisexuals!”

Along the same lines, another tweeter commented: “bts’ collab with halsey a BISEXUAL artist and this?? a coincidence? i think not. #BoyWithLuv.”

A different person had an idea for the music video.

They wrote: “wild bisexual concept: instead of BTS fighting over a rando girl, halsey and taehyung are fighting over the other members and in the end taehyung gets the member and halsey goes and finds a cute girl!”

One fan tweeted: “This is extremely exciting! I can already tell that this is going to be an exceptional, chart topping hit and collaboration .”
