Hair stylist Kevin Bacon murdered on Christmas Eve after meeting man on Grindr
A man has been charged over the murder of Michigan hair stylist Kevin Bacon, who he met on Grindr on Christmas Eve.
Mark Latunski, 50, was charged on Monday with the murder and mutilation of Swartz Creek, Michigan man Kevin Bacon, 25.

According to court documents, at 5pm on on Christmas Eve Bacon had told his best friend and housemate Michelle Myers that he was heading out to meet with a man from the gay hook-up app.
A text later informed her that he was having fun and might not be back for a while – but his family raised the alarm when he failed to turn up for Christmas dinner the next day.
Bacon’s car, clothes, phone and wallet were later found abandoned by police, while his mutilated body was found three days later, on December 28.
Appearing before the 66th District Court on Monday, Latunski was arraigned on one count of murder and one count of mutilation of a human body.
He is being held pending trial and could face life in prison if found guilty, according to Michigan Live.
Jeffree Star and Kevin Bacon send tributes
Bacon’s family have received a wave of condolences in the wake of the killing.
Makeup YouTuber Jeffree Star spoke out after it was revealed that Bacon was a massive fan of his, donating $20,000 to a crowdfunder to pay for funeral costs.
He tweeted: “RIP KEVIN. I’m devastated to hear of the passing of someone from Michigan who lived their life fearlessly and was taken too soon. Please help his family in this horrible time.”
Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon, no relation, also sent a message of condolence.
He wrote: “For obvious reasons I’m thinking this morning about the friends and family of this young person Kevin Bacon.
“His life was taken from him much too soon. His love was hair dressing. I bet he would have done a great job on this mess on my head. RIP KB.”
