The Absolut Vodka pride bottle from the Sweden-based brand is decked out in the colours of the Pride flag and is described as “clean and elegant, with touches of peppery grains and vanilla pod.”

Absolut Rainbow is a collaboration with artist and activist Gilbert Baker, who was the designer of the original rainbow Pride flag in 1978.

They teamed up to create the Absolut Rainbow bottle in 2008 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Pride flag and Absolut’s first ever Pride bottle.

In 2018 they decided to make the bottle a permanent member of the Absolut family as a “symbol and celebration of our long and strong support to the LGBT+ community.”

Absolut add: “This humble tribute to our late friend Gilbert Baker is filled with the closest thing we will ever get to such an immortal legend.”

The brand recently shown their support for the LGBT+ community in response to UEFA refusing Munich’s Allianz Arena from lighting up in rainbow colours.

Munich city council wanted show solidarity during the Germany v Hungary Euro 2020 game as a statement against a new anti-LGBT+ law in Hungary that bans the “promotion” of LGBT+ issues

Absolut Vodka wrote in an Instagram post: “Today we distance ourselves from the letters U, E, F and A.”

There’s also the Spirit of Stonewall gin which donates to the charity all-year round and The Official Pride Gin which helps keep London Pride free for everyone.

Others pay tribute to some LGBT+ icons including Tom of Finland who’s artwork appears on a vodka bottle and Harvey Milk who’s Foundation has teamed up with vodka brand Stoli.
