It features more than 1,800 pieces, with incredible detail that fans of the film series will love.
The Time Machine parts that have been replicated including cooling stacks out the rear, correct dashboard clock dates, removable lightning-pole and a light-up Flux Capacitor.
The set also features additional pieces to build the DeLorean into the different versions showcased throughout the three movies.
To replicate the vehicle from the second movie, the kit is upgraded with a Mr. Fusion reactor to replace the plutonium-powered unit of the original, and the wheels can be pointed down to for flight mode.
For the third movie’s model, red-painted wheels with chrome hubcaps are included along with “backdated” time circuits strapped to the hood.
There’s also Marty and Doc Brown minifigures, of course, alongside accessories like a hoverboard, a box of plutonium and swappable licence plates.
You can also open the gull-wing doors and fold down the tyres, but the only thing you can do is travel back in time (for now).
The popularity of the 80s cult classic isn’t slowing down, as it’s also been adapted in a hit West End musical.
The show opened at the Adelphi Theatre in September 2021 and has since been nominated for seven Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical.
It’s received positive reviews from critics and fans of the film and features original music alongside hits from the film, including “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode”.
