Harry Styles announces the first single from his upcoming album ‘Harry’s House’

Harry Styles has announced the lead single from his upcoming album, Harry's House.

Harry Styles has announced the first single from his upcoming album, Harry’s House.

After unveiling the title and cover of his third solo album, he’s now confirmed the first single from the LP.

The single, entitled “As It Was” will arrive on 1 April, with Styles tweeting the release date alongside a series of photos.

They show the singer walking down a hallway, with his back turned to the camera, wearing a sequined red outfit.

This is likely to be stills from the song’s music video, which is also expected to drop this Friday.

As reported by Billboard, some of Styles’ fans believe they already know some of the lyrics that will feature on “As It Was”.

The ‘You Are Home’ Twitter account, which has been active since 19 March, has been tweeting out cryptic lines that could be potential lyrics.

One of them reads: “in this world, it’s just us, you know it’s not the same as it was”.

Fans of Styles suspected that the ‘You Are Home’ social media pages were related to the singer, following mysterious posts featuring lyrics and artwork.

It was confirmed earlier this month that they were connected to Styles’ album campaign, with the ‘You Are Home’ website also launching.

The album will follow up his 2017 self-titled debut and 2019’s Fine Line, which features hit singles “Watermelon Sugar” and “Adore You”.

He will also embark on a stadium tour across the UK and Europe this summer in support of the upcoming album.
