The singer stole the show at this year’s event as she walked the red carpet in a black coat by designer Thom Browne alongside a matching gold flute.

She embodied the Gilded Glamour theme, while her makeup look gave it a gothic twist that fans can easily recreate.

Her talented makeup artist, Alexx Mayo has revealed some of the products behind her stunning red carpet look.

In an Instagram post featuring Lizzo pre-red carpet, we see Alexx applying her lipstick to achieve a gothic look.

He reveals he used two products from Charlotte Tilbury to create the vampy lip.

This includes Lip Cheat in the shade ‘Bad Romance’, which is filled in with Matte Revolution in the shade ‘Festival Magic’.

They’re both available from the Charlotte Tilbury website, with Lip Cheat priced at £19 and Matte Revolution priced at £26, so fans can recreate Lizzo’s look.

In a second post featuring more images of Lizzo’s makeup look, he confirmed that he used lashes from Velour Beauty.

He says it “wouldn’t be a gala without” the brand, having used Poker Face lashes for the popstar’s look alongside Velour’s lash adhesive and lash applicator for “a wide eyed sultry look”.

The singer wowed on the red carpet, which she walked down in a sweeping black coat by designer Thom Browne, with intricate gold hand-embroidery, and carried a matching gold flute.

“I’m a bad bitch,” Lizzo said on the Met Gala red carpet.

“I just do what bad bitches do. This coat took 22,000 hours to make, this flute is a rare $55,000 flute, and I’m in Thom Browne. It’s hugging my curves just right and I look amazing.”

Lizzo proceeded to disrobe, revealing a black corset dress underneath her coat, and played the rare flute for assembled reporters.

Lizzo is going on tour

The singer recently announced details of her biggest headline tour ever.

She will embark on the Special Tour later this year, with arena dates planned across North America.

It’ll be in support of her upcoming album, Special, which is due for release on 15 July and features the title track and single “About Damn Time”.

The tour will kick off on 23 September in Florida and includes a huge hometown show at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, and will end on 18 November in Los Angeles.
