Madonna warned Franke Grande his throuple was ‘not going to end well’

Frankie Grande, American reality TV star and brother of pop icon Ariana Grande, has revealed that Madonna warned him against engaging in a throuple.

On Wednesday’s (21 September) episode of American talk-show Tamron Hall, Grande told the host about the relationship advice he had been given by Madonna.

“I was talking to Madonna of all people – talking to the queen – and I told her about the throuple,” Grande said.

“She literally said, ‘Well, that’s not going to end well.’ She said that, and I still did it.”

Explaining the throuple further – which consisted of himself and an already married couple, lawyer Daniel Sonasohn and doctor Mike Pophis – he says that he was happy in the relationship, until he realised he wanted a marriage of his own.

“I’m always the person that says yes to whatever comes into my life, and I’ve never been afraid to take risks or do something unconventional,” Grande added.

“When this relationship presented itself to me I was like, you know what, why not? Let’s just try it, let’s go in. And it did not work.”

The throuple split after just six months in 2018, although the separation was amicable. Grande described it as: “Double the highs, double the excitement but also double the lows, double the drama.”

Grande has since married his now-husband Hale Leon this year on 4 May, at the Grande family home in Boca Raton, Florida, in a small, Star Wars-themed ceremony.

“Introducing Mr. & Mr. Grande‼️??❤️??‍♂️ Yup! We’re MARRIED! Surprise! ??,” Frankie wrote on Instagram. “

Hale and I were married at a small intimate galactic ceremony in my family home in Florida on May the 4th be with you, cause we really are both that nerdy. ?✨”

Madonna, meanwhile, has just dropped a steamy music video for her new remix “Hung Up on Toksicha”. The video features no throuples, but lots of grinding. Werk.
